Sentiment Analysis is now out of Beta!

We're excited to announce that Sentiment Analysis is officially out of beta and is now a standard feature in Altmetric Explorer. We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who provided feedback during the beta period—it was invaluable in helping us refine and improve the feature.

Based on your feedback and our continued development, we've made two major improvements:

• Expanded Coverage: You'll now find sentiment analysis data for all applicable mentions. We've completed the backfilling of data, so you'll see sentiment scores on mentions for all publications in our database, not just for more recent outputs.

• New Content Types: Sentiment analysis now includes coverage for books and chapters. We've successfully addressed the complexities of scoring and aggregation for these output types, which were not available during the beta.

This powerful feature allows you to go beyond simple mention counts to understand whether conversations are positive, negative, or neutral. It helps you evaluate the true impact of your research, manage reputation risks, and gain a deeper understanding of how your work is received.

As a reminder, this feature is available to all Altmetric Explorer users.
